Thank you for your continued support and trust in RAKxa Wellness & Medical Retreat especially during these unprecedented times. We would like to introduce the measures we are taking to safeguard our guests’ health and RAKxa team members’ hygiene.

Our retreat has been fully briefed and are on action on essential preparatory and prevention measures. These range from hygiene measures including increased cleaning and sanitising frequency to guidelines on how to handle suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19.

We are following the recommendations of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and with close and continued support from Bumrungrad Hospital plus all relevant authorities for country-specific requirements to ensure the actions we take are comprehensive and suitable that cover protocols since prearrival screening, during stay and till departure. Below are the 10 actions being taken place at RAKxa

01. ARRIVAL

Digital check-in, temperature check, contactless greetings and luggage sanitisation ensures safe and seamless arrivals for guests.

02. GUEST GUARDIAN

RAKxa team member is on hand at every area to ensure the highest levels of safety and provide advice to guests. RAKxa is adopting Bumrungrad hospital’s Covid-19 protection protocols.

03. CLEANING TECHNOLOGY

we use latest UV steriliser machine, Ozone sterilisation and cleaning technologies to ensure the highest-possible levels of cleanliness

04. COMMON AREAS

Enhanced cleaning schedules and sanitisation of high-touch areas ensure a safe environment for guests. Hand sanitising stations and temperature check machine can be found throughout the property.

05. VILLAS

RAKxa villas are thoroughly cleaned and sterilization with UV and Ozone after every visit. Bed linens are changed every day. They are washed at the highest temperature. All villas contain a hygiene kit with mask and hand sanitise.

06. DINING

Table spacing and a la carte-only ensure physical distancing compliance and the highest hygiene and food safety standards.

07. WELLNESS SERVICES

Medical gym usage is strictly limited to ensure physical distancing, private training options and regular and thorough cleaning. RAKxa’s therapists have undergone Covid-19 testing and they are now staying at designated area within RAKxa premise ensuring the highest hygiene standard.

08. TRANSPORT

RAKxa Limousine van and RAKxa buggy and bicycle are fully sanitised after every journey. Van and Buggy driver always wash their hands with alcohol gel.

09. RAKxa TEAM MEMBER

All team members have received enhanced health and safety training, including correct procedures for wearing personal protective equipment and physical distancing awareness.

10. DEPARTURE

Guest contactless at check-out protocol will ensure the highest hygiene and safety standards till end of the journey.

In addition to above, for the highest hygiene of our guests below services are out of order from now until further notice;

  • Hydrotherapy area and Floatation treatment at RAKxa Jai
  • Swimming pool, and group class activities at RAKxa Gaya
  • Pulmonary Function Test (Spirometer) and Fotona (in mouth) at VitalLife
