Ai Chi, The Inspired Practice to Look Forward to World Tai Chi & Qigong Day

World Tai Chi and Qigong Day is set for April 30th, 2022. To celebrate this special calendar, RAKxa Wellness is spreading the profound health and healing benefits of Tai Chi and Qigong for individuals, communities, and nations throughout the world in order to strive for improved well-being of everyone.

“Meditation in motion” is a popular expression for Tai chi, a mind-body practice that originated in China as a martial art, while it may also be described as “medicine in motion.” Low-impact, gradual, and gentle movements characterise Tai Chi, which are based on the body’s natural movements.

Qigong, often known as the inner portion of Tai Chi, is a kind of movement and mind that combines intention and mindfulness to guide Qi and make Qi flow. The term “Qi” means “life force” in Mandarin, and it refers to the kind of energy that gives us a sense of vitality and enables us to experience our emotions.

At RAKxa GAYA, we provide a selection of martial arts, including Tai Chi and Qigong, to help you improve your overall health. Incorporating Tai Chi and Qigong concepts with Watsu techniques in order to create Ai Chi, a water exercise and relaxation training session created to bring you strength and serenity in the presence of water and greenery, powerful in progression and natural sensibility, is one of the most exciting exercises to look forward to this summer.

As a result of correct posture and positioning in the water by standing in shoulder-deep water involving deep breathing and slow, wide motions of the arms, legs, and torso, Ai Chi promotes oxygen levels as well as calorie burning, while also decreasing the constraints of weight experienced in land-based exercise. It’s a terrific way to relieve stress, and it’s challenging enough to help you improve your mobility and range of motion. 

Tai Chi, Qigong, and Ai Chi can all boost your immune functions, increase brain activity, reduce depression, improve balance, dexterity, lower blood pressure, and help improve sleep and many other health issues.
